Spectragel®2Q has the same indications for use, as the original Spectragel® silicone elastomer gel (see reverse), however it has been specially formulated for sensitive skin and the topical management of erythema (redness) often associated with laser surgery and resurfacing of the face. Scars that have a raised and discolored appearance, may soften and fade with regular use of Spectragel®2Q, as directed. This product is clear, odorless, and self-drying. Spectragel®2Q has improved drying time than the original Spectragel® formulation, and is also ideal for applying under makeup or concealer. When properly applied, Spectragel®2Q instantly bonds to the affected scar, forming a protective coating over the surface of the scar and stays on until it is washed off with soap and warm water.
